FRANCESCO CAROTTA CONTRA H.J.DE JONGE   Leave a comment

Interesting discussion. My studies of the historicity of “Jesus” have found that even conservative, orthodox Biblical scholars, in American theological schools, state that the first time ever the name of Jesus was seen was in Paul’s first epistle to the Romans. That name of a personage was never heard of before; and that’s in the early 40s or 50s A.D. Paul invented the name and christological concept.
The supposed 4 Gospels came along much later, and Paul had no knowledge of a biography of his fictional character.
